Walking with Great Gram- again!

Clark has really enjoyed walking around with his Great Gram (espeically since they move at about the same pace these days!) When we got home from Fiddler's Gram was out for a walk with her therapist and Clark had to join in. So of course I had to snap pictures...

Fiddler's Green

Clark got to eat his first meal (of many I'm sure) at Fiddler's for lunch today! He was sooooo cute! I think he enjoyed having a boys lunch out. Plus, he had been hearing about that place from his Mom and Dad so it was only fitting he got to see it for himself.

Blizzard Beach

We took Clark to his first water park and of course he had a blast. Clark can't get enough of all the fun stuff Disney has to offer. We're so lucky to have awesome family close to such a magical place. And what a perfect day we had- it was in the upper 70s lower 80s the whole day! Clark liked splashing around in the baby area, floating down the lazy river and even got to go down a slide with his Daddy. After he took a little nap it was off to the wave pool which was like floating around in the ocean. Each time the tube rode over a wave he giggled.

We had so much fun in fact Rich and I dropped Clark off at camp Grandma and Grandpa and headed back for a whole day with Joe and Traci. And even though all the rides seemed to say "expectant mothers should not ride" I got to sit and read ALL day in the sun with my feet in the waves of the pool and it was heaven. I'm not sure the next time I'll get to do anything close to that, so I just enjoyed every second. Plus, now that I'm officially obsessed with the Twilight series (just like all the other teenage girls out there, ha!) I was able to almost finish the second book... love it!

Clark's future bride

Clark had a lunch date with his future wife (we hope :) and Liden is SUCH a cutie! She's just about the only other little chunk out there that can rival our boy and they were hilarious together... already eating off each other's food and feeding each other- then it was off to the park for a stroll together and a little bird feeding. A train even wet past at the end of the morning and the kiddos loved that of course. All and all I think it was a perfect first date!

Girls night out-

When Charlene and Suzy were in town Traci Renee and I met up with them at PF Changs for a girls night out and I had to steal these pictures from Traci's blog. We had to visit Mike in action- And, although I've never really liked the food there at all I'm now officially obsessed with the Chang's spicy chicken... thanks Renee!

Clark's new trick-

Grandma taught Clark how to vacuum :) He even knows how to turn it on and off- and with his foot too! Although I only caught the hand on film. We have a video of it too of course- I'll have to stop being lazy and start uploading them, they're TOO funny!

Playground & Clark's first taste of Gelato!

Clark had a fun afternoon date with his Grandma and headed to the playground for some fun on the swings. And now that he can go down slides sitting up like a big boy that was pretty fun too. Although, usually the slides he goes down now are at Gymboree (because it's been so cold out) and he's only in his socks but with sneakers on he went way slower-

Then it was off to this wonderful place called Jeremiah's which has WONDERFUL gelato- yummy! Clark hadn't tried that before so it was pretty fun seeing his face expressions. Right now he gets such a kick out of feeding others so I think he fed more to his Daddy than he ate himself...

Christmas Day = spoiled Clark

Clark was such a lucky boy yesterday and had just about the most wonderful Christmas he could have possibly had. He got to feed the horses in the morning and went down for a nice little nap. Then there was the Christmas present opening marathon which you can see was a hit. We weren't sure if he was going to have the patience to sit through all the gifts he had to open but he had SO much fun. After that he was wiped out and ready for another nap. Once he was up though he got to play with all his new toys and then all the family came over and he had fun playing with everyone. He was quite the hit and put on a show for everyone the whole night. He loved eating all the different things at dinner, although the olives were his favorite. It certainly was a wonderful day and night- we are so lucky and blessed to have such wonderful family and a great day-

Clark actually figured out that the trash goes in the can and he loved helping clean up the mess.

Give a baby boy the coolest truck and he'll play with the box. The truck did get some good playing action later in the afternoon though- Thanks Aunt Joan & Uncle Stan! Rich still has the Hess truck from when he was a little guy :)

Clark got so into playing with his Artoo Laptop that he fell backwards.

Sadly, that hat will see a LOT of action when we get back home. For right now we're going to enjoy the "unseasonably warm" 80 degree weather we're having here! Clark's also playing with his awesome new remote control tonka truck. He kept running it into his feet and it freaked him out a little so he's sitting on Uncle Joe's lap. Now that he's used to it each time he makes the truck move he laughs hysterically. It's great! We can't wait for he and Lloyd to play with the truck together!

Judging from the look on Clark's face you'd think those olives were soaked in vodka!

Clark learned to play baseball with his giant soft Yankee baseball set.

Charlene and Suzy were able to come from cold Detroit for a visit!!!
