working with Daddy

Clark went to a few offices with Rich one morning and cleaned up. Guess most of the offices have little tootsie pops, and who can resist Clark when he says "pweees". I thought my boys looked super handsome so I had to snap a pic.

Birds and the Bees at the Zoo today-

I had to snap a pic on my phone, does it really need a caption???

Choo Choos & Adam

The weather has been so beautiful lately we've had a blast doing everything outside that we couldn't do all winter. We took the boys to the Museum of Transportation to ride some choo choos and then off to Adman's house for a little yard-play and grilling out.

Adam did so good feeding baby Dexter. He's going to be an awesome big brother in just a few short weeks!!!

Dex Graduated

from the sink bath to the tub... which is a big deal in this family since Clark's transition was so terrible. He loves bathing with his brother though and apparently you can splash way bigger in the tub so that's a bonus as well! Here is a picture from his last sink bath-

lots of splashing!

City Garden time

It's that time of year again. For some reason it's only April and our temps have been in the 80s almost every single day (except today which was nice.) It really has opened up our options though and I was happy to find out that City Garden turned their fountains on already so we had to go! And Clark drove... just kidding :) he loves to pretend though. He already whines about not being able to drive. It's going to be a long 13.5 years...
Dex loves his newfound freedom now that he can crawl everywhere-

zoo friends

Last weekend we became "zoo friends" and joined for the summer. We're lucky in STL that our amazing zoo is free, but there are things that cost (that Clark loves of course) like the train, carousel & children's zoo. So we figured joining might not be a bad idea. That and the fact that parking can be real tough, so I'm excited to have passes!

Now when we go to the zoo Clark has a list of animals he wants to see. Elephants are always at the top of that list, along with the giraffes & zebras.

Easter

Happy Easter, a tad late. I'm really behind on my pictures right now!!!

Dex the bunny, enjoying the puffs that were in his eggs

After our Easter morning of egg hunting and basket playing we headed to Marc & Lisa's for more egg hunting and child fun. Dex was LOVING the swing. Perry is so sweet to her little cousin-
Clark did awesome with the egg hunt-

Park

Tuesday afternoon I was in Oak Knoll park taking some pictures of an adorable family. The two oldest boys were in first grade & third grade and I could see how much fun they have together. And, it made me so thrilled that our little guys will grow up so close, and I hope they will be best of friends. It's always fun getting a glimpse into what we have to look forward to... So as soon as I was finished snapping family pictures I took a couple of my own kids too :) Here is Clark drumming to the rock gods with his sticks.
It's amazing how fun sticks can be to a child.

And we can't set Dex down for a second without him trying to eat nature-
