OIRETRUCK!

Clark is obsessed with anything and everything to do with firetrucks (or oiretrucks as he calls them.) And since Uncle Joe is a fireman Clark got a full tour of the firehouse while we were in town. He made cookies as a thank you.

This lucky little guy got to ride around in the truck and even turn the siren on.

The guys thought it would be fun to dress Rich up in Joe's uniform and see Clark's reaction. He was more in awe of the ax :) and of course Rich started sweating the second he put the uniform on-

And a little sidenote- Joe got rookie of the year for his fire department while we were in town. Go Joe, we're all SO proud of you!

Steelers!

Five Steelers fans- So, this is pretty pitiful...YAY FL for having smoke-free bars, we were able to take the boys to the Steelers bar to watch the game. Well, each time they did something good the whole bar cheered and that scared the crap out of Dex and he would start crying. Needless to say, boys and I left real early which ended up not being a bad thing since the game wasn't too good.

Magic Kingdom

While we were in FL we got to take Clark to the Magic Kingdom for the second time in his little life. He's only 2 and is already spoiled :) I'm not sure who had more fun... us or Clark, but either way it was a truly Magical day! CLICK HERE if you want to see the rest of the pictures. I actually narrowed them down to only 34 which is great for me!

One highlight of the day was getting to meet Buzz Lightyear. He's one of Clark's favorite characters- he went right up to him and said "hi Buzz!" and each time Clark hit the red button Buzz would pretend to power down. Clark loved it!

Clark had so much fun hanging with his Uncle Joe that day. Here they are "driving" around the test track.

So the other night we put Clark to bed. 30 minutes later we were looking for him on the video monitor and couldn't see him in his bed. So when we went to check on him this is what we found... Clark passed out by his door. (We have a gate up at his door so if he gets out of bed he can't wander around the house and get himself into trouble.)

I didn't have the camera ready when Dex managed to get the bink out of Clark's mouth and into his. But at least you can see Clark's sheer annoyance at Dex even trying to get it. And so it begins... too funny.

And Dex has figured out how to grab Clark's hair as you can see. So now when they're sitting close to each other and Dex is moving his arms around, Clark will lean away from him and say "no hair!" haha.

Clark is obsessed with his Uncle Joe- he even named his fireman toy Joe (of course!) Some nights if Joe was over Clark wouldn't go to bed until he tucked him in. "yuv yooo joe" is what he would say. Love it.

It was the first (and only) movie he saw in the theater and he made it through almost the entire thing. If it weren't for the previews... so he finally got to see the end and now he has no problem sitting through it.

Every Saturday Grandma & Grandpa eat at Perkins and see all the other Grandparents showing off their grand babies. I know they were excited to bring the boys there too, and it was pretty yummy.

So, while we were in FL Dex decided he wanted nothing to do with his bink. Which is fine by us, we are already dreading the hell that is awaiting us when we try to break Clark of his habit. We should have done it a long time ago, but didn't want to remove his security blanket with a new baby coming. And worse, have him see Dex with one and be real jealous. So now we've got what I never thought we'd have. A 2 year old with a serious addiction, poor little guy. Although I've read that thumb sucking is an even harder habit to break, and more tough on the teeth. Thankfully he doesn't do it too much... Look how cute he is :)
