Mork & Eesa's

This morning we headed to Mork and Eesa's house for a little playdate. Clark loooooves going there, so of course the morning was super fun.

And I was able to catch a Dexter storm on "film." Rich and I always joke that Dex gives you fair warning before flipping out, where Clark used to just go from 0-screaming in no time at all. Well, here is one of Dex's progressions :)

Happy baby...

The pout

Here it comes...

And... the full-blown storm

Kissing Cousins: Clark playing hard to get.
But that's hard, Perry's just too sweet

Twinkies

When Grandma and Grandpa were in town visiting we found matching sweaters for the boys... and they looked DARLING yesterday! So we had to take a picture and post it for them. Love you guys!

some fun randoms-

Here are some random pictures from the past couple days...

Clark making Plex and Foofa kiss

Yummy Daddy. Have I mentioned I think he's teething. His gums are HARD and he's drooling a ton and chewing on everything that he can catch in his mouth. I don't think a tooth is right around the corner, but he's working on them for sure-

Dex got sleepy the other day during playtime on the floor and just passed right out, hand up in the air of course.

How cute are these boys together? Clark likes playing with his baby bro-

Dex has just figured out how to grab things and put them in his mouth. Here he is with his new fave teething toy-

Just looking at this pic makes me want to grab him out of his crib right now and snuggle him.

ok, i seriously hate this picture of me, but how hilarious is clark... i had to post it.

And this is the playground we went to- it's spaceship themed if you didn't get that :)

Clark is such a climber these days-

Riding the spaceship

Clark was giving us a ride in the car-

Sick House

When Rich was in Newport Beach for work last week Clark and I ended up getting super sick of course. I had a 104 temp and strep, and he had a mystery illness and a 103.5 temp. Needless to say, things were NOT fun around the DiTore house. Thank the Lord for Gramme Pamme- I don't think we would have made it if it weren't for her help! Here's a picture of poor Clark who passed out cold while watching "To-nas" aka Thomas the Train :) He's never really fallen asleep on the couch like this before, so I had to snap a picture...

"I share! I share!"

Clark was so proud of himself that he was sharing his Gabba buddies with Dex. He just kept walking around, decorating Dex and saying "I share! I share!"

Quote for Clark's Room- you decide!

So we're officially converting Clark's nursery to a big boy space, Star Wars themed of course. He is actually sleeping in his big boy bed right now for the first time and we couldn't be more proud of him. He didn't even get out once, although I'm sure that will change. So we're considering two quotes for above his bed and thought we'd let you guys decide... You can vote on the top left of the blog.

"Truly wonderful, the mind of a child is." (Yoda)

"The force will be with you... always." (Obi-Wan)
Here is Clark helping his Dad break down the crib.
And the finished product. I got the painting finished yesterday and the bed is up today. We still need to re-arrange all the furniture and decorate. We're going to grab a bunch of Rich's original Star Wars stuff when we visit FL this November. I'm sure his folks will be glad to have it out of their house, and Clark will enjoy it in his new room.

Clark's Second Birthday

Grandma and Grandpa got Clark some train track for his birthday. SO the night before we got his table all cleared off and set up the cool track. He was REALLY super excited when he came down the morning of and realized he had his own train table...

Then we went to Wittle Works (a cool train shop/play area) for the morning where Clark got to play with tons of trains. Clark couldn't get over all the different train tables he could play with and wanted to try each one out himself.

Dex helped play- he's a future train lover too.

Whenever Clark gets frustrated he does this REALLY high pitched scream (which is our fave thing ever, ha) Here's his scream face.

We got him a "happy birthday" train to remember the day by

I have a picture of Clark and I at this exact place (standing on a "choo-choo" at the Museum of Transportation) from Mother's Day when I was pregnant with Dex. Now Dex is in the little baby carrier-

Already driving.

Clark showing Grandma around the Museum of Transportation.

This is Clark hugging the computer while doing a video chat with Uncle Joe. He was thanking him for his awesome fireman gear. Clark's going to be a fireman for Halloween and we're trying to find Dex a dalmation costume-

Who is two?

Clark's Second Birthday Party

Today was Clark's second birthday party- and I can't believe my little guy is almost TWO! Seriously, where has the time gone. He had a great time today, and was even pretty well behaved. There were a few moments he didn't want to share but overall he was fantastic for two! We're so proud of our big boy! CLICK HERE for more pictures from the day.

Clark's awesome cake. I found a girl on Craigslist who bakes these awesome cakes out of her home. Her cake company is called Tier's of Joy. I have her email if anyone is interested, we were pleased for sure!

Cool "choo-choo" stuff-

Clark and his balloons

Everybody singing happy birthday to Clark

Clark thought it was like his first birthday when he got to manhandle the cake. Not so much big boy.

Silly family photo- and happy haircut to me.

Dex was NOT a fan of his party hat

After his nap Clark played a little Tiger Woods golf with Grandpa.

BOOM! which is what Clark says each time the ball gets hit.
