Six Flags

On Grandma's birthday we headed to Six Flags and Clark had a serious blast- we're not sure if Dex knew he left the house :) We already can't wait to take him back to Disney! And in true fashion I took WAY too many pictures, so click HERE if you want to see more of them. I actually narrowed the 275 down to 42!



Clark had a blast on the carousel with his Grandma-

Yesterday we broke out BOB and took the boys on a walk to the Gelateria. It was delicious of course!

Clark's been saying ALL kinds of new things lately and it's been so fun listening to what he has to say. Tonight Grandma made some of the famous meatballs we all love so much and Clark was saying "me-ball" all night long. But the funniest thing was the other night while Rich was bathing him it seemed like he might have to go to the bathroom, so he put him on his little baby toilet. Clark squeezed his legs together and noticed his private parts disappeared. So he said "where'd it go?" and then opened his legs and got all excited and said "there it is!" and kept doing it over and over again. Hilarious.

big day for dex!

Two nights ago at his 4am feeding and diaper change his cord stump fell off which means yesterday was his first offical day in cloth diapers AND his first bath- big day for a little guy. And true to his nature so far he was a perfect little angel and didn't even make a peep while in the water. He just looked around all wide-eyed and took everything in.

4th of July and other randoms-

On the 4th we had a little family BBQ at our place. Marc & Lisa headed over with the kids, my Dad was there since he's in town now and Gramme Pamme even came by with "uncle" Adam.

Clark vs. Food - again

Today we went to Pappy's for dinner and then to Crown Candy Kitchen for some of their famous malts. I know I've mentioned these places on here before so I don't need to do that again, but Clark tried ribs for the first time and did pretty well with them :)

Clark LOVES his Grandparents- each time he comes down from his nap and realizes they're still here he gets a big smile on his face.

And we couldn't be more excited- they'll be here for almost three whole weeks and Clark is loving every second of it!!! Dex got to meet them for the first time today and he's loving all his extra snuggles!!!

Two Weeks already-

Monday Dexter turned two weeks and had his check-up at his doctor's. He gained an entire pound since his 4 day appointment, so 1 whole pound in 10 days. I must have haagen-daze breastmilk :) So our little milk monster is already 8lbs and is now 20.5 inches. Right in the middle of the growth charts-

So the weather that day was finally cool enough to do some fun things outside with Dexter so we took the boys to the zoo. Clark was pretty wiped out after, as you can see. This was our attempt at keeping him awake with food on the ride home. Didn't work.

A couple of Clark

A couple ones of Clark lately- one of his favorite things is coloring-

And one of his friends came over the other day for a playdate, and Clark was caught doing something naughty to Chloe! Her mom Audra brought us the most amazing veggie lasagna and homemade strawberry shortcake (with the biscuits and everything) it was SO yummy! She's an amazing cook-
