The Boat House
This morning we headed to First Watch for a little brunch with the bachelorette girls, Gramme Pamme and my boys. Clark enjoyed eating with his Gramme, and we enjoyed yummy food! Then it was off to Forest Park's Boat House where we rented a paddle boat and headed out on the "lake". Clark LOVED the boats from land but once he was on it, not so much. All he wanted to do was get in the water and splash around, which of course wasn't going to happen. So there were tears, but all was better the minute we got home and he passed right out in his crib.

Nicolle's Bachelorette Party
Well, this is what it looks like when a 25 week pregnant chick heads out for a bachelorette party- sick and wrong, ha! Yesterday was Nicolle's "last night out" and we had a blast. In the early afternoon we all met at a local nail salon for a little pampering... then it started out with a fun lingerie shower (pictures that will not be shared :) but all I've gotta say is Brian has some great surprises coming his way in 2 short months! Then we headed out to a place downtown which was just OK but Mandarin saved the day like always so we rounded out the night partying down in the Central West End. And of course, what would a night out in St. Louis be without a trip to Steak N Shake? Too fun. I really can't wait for the wedding!!!
Nicolle got awesome bride undies-
the bridesmaids (minus Pam who lives overseas) and Heather who had to step down because she might not be able to travel for the wedding, she's due 10 days before me.

Little Worker Boy
Rich has been wanting to get Clark some tools for a long time now, so we picked up a little tool stool and box and he has been LOVING it! He will carry around his box and play with his toy power drill, it's the first thing he goes for in the morning right now. And what's even funnier is the hard hat in this first picture was from my Dad's old company, and it's an ADULT hat and it's not even on the smallest setting. It's strange to think that there are adults out there with smaller heads than Clark. Ha.

fun at the park
Today for some strange reason we were blessing with BEAUTIFUL weather. It reached 72 according to my car thermometer (which could be off of course) but it felt delightful and that's all that matters. We headed to a park nearby with the Maheu family to enjoy the good weather and take Malcolm's one year photos. I haven't edited them yet, but I did include 2 as a sneak peek. And of course I had to take a few of Clark too- I just can't stop myself :)
how cute are my boys?

big surprise, clark still thinks he's pretty good looking!

clark gets really excited everytime he sees an airplane. here he is pointing at one that was going past.

sneak peak at malcolm's pics - unphotoshopped of course.

clark loves perry.

am i a bad mom because i had to snap a picture of him eating the stick instead of grabbing it out of his mouth first? he was just so cute with it!

Free Pancakes!
Just thought we'd share the good news- ha. Tomorrow (the 24th) is National Pancake Day (who knew there was such a thing!) and in honor of it IHOP is giving away free short stacks of their delicious buttermilk pancakes from 7a til 10p. All they ask is you consider making a donation to your local children's hospital- Here are the details. Enjoy!
iPhone love-
I was flipping through the pictures on our phones the other day and decided to share some of the fun ones. All these are phone pictures so that'll explain the quality :)
Clark chillin' at Steak n' Shake-

This is clark "dunking" at Gymboree.

And here's the little guy all passed out in his crib. Too sweet. As you can see his "nap" bear is never far from him while he's sleeping. Thanks Aunt Traci and Uncle Joe!

And here's how I found Rich when he was upstairs "working," ha!

Yesterday we headed to one of the suburban malls to let clark play around a little bit, there's a carousel there that Clark can't get enough of.

After the carousel rides we shared a small family oreo shake. Clark was obviously a big fan :)

Keeping Clark entertained-
Clark is a big boy these days. And although he has more toys than we ever thought would be in our home, it takes a lot to keep him entertained especially through the evening before bed. Playing Rock Band drums is one of his favorite things, and we (Rich) figured out that he can drum to music off our ipods. We're entertained, and he's entertained it's the best all around.

And Clark learned how to "blow his nose" and will hold a tissue up to his nose and blow out as hard as he can. Although that's not very hard these days, but it's really fun watching him learn-

And of course Lloyd is hours of entertainment. Clark grabbed one of his other favorite toys, a balloon and was chasing Lloyd around the living room with it. Lloyd loves the ribbon hanging from it so he was torn between chasing the balloon and running from Clark. Clark giggled the entire time :)

Development Project Update
HERE are some pictures I took at our job site at the end of January. It really is amazing seeing the blueprints we poured over for the past year and a half + come to life. Walking through a structure we've worked so hard on really is rewarding. Seeing doors being hung and crown molding go up was fun enough, but as we speak the granite and marble are being fabricated, carpet is going to be ordered this week, and the appliances are on their way... The condos went on the market this month and in early April we will have our grand opening and our first broker's open. Now we just need 8 people who want to buy a million dollar condo in this crappy market. Fingers crossed :) We've already had some showings though, and thankfully Clayton is pretty stable compared to other neighborhoods-
