fun at the park

Today for some strange reason we were blessing with BEAUTIFUL weather. It reached 72 according to my car thermometer (which could be off of course) but it felt delightful and that's all that matters. We headed to a park nearby with the Maheu family to enjoy the good weather and take Malcolm's one year photos. I haven't edited them yet, but I did include 2 as a sneak peek. And of course I had to take a few of Clark too- I just can't stop myself :)

how cute are my boys?

big surprise, clark still thinks he's pretty good looking!

clark gets really excited everytime he sees an airplane. here he is pointing at one that was going past.

sneak peak at malcolm's pics - unphotoshopped of course.

clark loves perry.

am i a bad mom because i had to snap a picture of him eating the stick instead of grabbing it out of his mouth first? he was just so cute with it!

perry is SO cute with clark!

clark's favorite thing around the house these days are our drum sticks. here's clark using real sticks to drum on the concrete. he's such a little boy.

checking out the duck in the pond.

and even though this is a terrible picture, this is the face he was making when he was saying bye bye to the duck. too funny.

Free Pancakes!

Just thought we'd share the good news- ha. Tomorrow (the 24th) is National Pancake Day (who knew there was such a thing!) and in honor of it IHOP is giving away free short stacks of their delicious buttermilk pancakes from 7a til 10p. All they ask is you consider making a donation to your local children's hospital- Here are the details. Enjoy!

iPhone love-

I was flipping through the pictures on our phones the other day and decided to share some of the fun ones. All these are phone pictures so that'll explain the quality :)

Clark chillin' at Steak n' Shake-

This is clark "dunking" at Gymboree.

And here's the little guy all passed out in his crib. Too sweet. As you can see his "nap" bear is never far from him while he's sleeping. Thanks Aunt Traci and Uncle Joe!

And here's how I found Rich when he was upstairs "working," ha!

Yesterday we headed to one of the suburban malls to let clark play around a little bit, there's a carousel there that Clark can't get enough of.

After the carousel rides we shared a small family oreo shake. Clark was obviously a big fan :)

And these are his giggle faces he makes when we're in the car. If we rock our heads side to side he will mimic us, and even keep the same pace- then he'll laugh like it's the most hilarious thing. Too funny.

Keeping Clark entertained-

Clark is a big boy these days. And although he has more toys than we ever thought would be in our home, it takes a lot to keep him entertained especially through the evening before bed. Playing Rock Band drums is one of his favorite things, and we (Rich) figured out that he can drum to music off our ipods. We're entertained, and he's entertained it's the best all around.

And Clark learned how to "blow his nose" and will hold a tissue up to his nose and blow out as hard as he can. Although that's not very hard these days, but it's really fun watching him learn-

And of course Lloyd is hours of entertainment. Clark grabbed one of his other favorite toys, a balloon and was chasing Lloyd around the living room with it. Lloyd loves the ribbon hanging from it so he was torn between chasing the balloon and running from Clark. Clark giggled the entire time :)

Development Project Update

HERE are some pictures I took at our job site at the end of January. It really is amazing seeing the blueprints we poured over for the past year and a half + come to life. Walking through a structure we've worked so hard on really is rewarding. Seeing doors being hung and crown molding go up was fun enough, but as we speak the granite and marble are being fabricated, carpet is going to be ordered this week, and the appliances are on their way... The condos went on the market this month and in early April we will have our grand opening and our first broker's open. Now we just need 8 people who want to buy a million dollar condo in this crappy market. Fingers crossed :) We've already had some showings though, and thankfully Clayton is pretty stable compared to other neighborhoods-

Valentines Day 2009

Valentines Day 2009 was so much fun. Rich and I have never been into VDay and usually try to avoid going out to dinner with ALL the other couples in the world doing their romantic dinners out. For some reason that always annoyed me. But this year when Clark's Gramme offered to take him for a slumber party so we figured we'd make a night of it. Marc & Lisa got babysitting too and the 4 of us went out to a little Italian place around the corner with really yummy food. We had a total blast and can't wait to do it again! Although, I think sleeping until almost ELEVEN the next morning might have been the highlight. Felt like we were in college all over again.

Clark woke up and went right for the cozy coupe, of course. It's his favorite thing right now!

The Maheu kids

Reading his Valentines Day cards from his Grandma & Grandpa, and Great Gram.

OOOO! his new word of excitement.

Clark and his Gramme at their slumber party-

Clark LOVED the piano!

On Valentines Day I was 21 weeks along so we thought we'd take a belly pic while I was actually dressed nice with make-up on because that just doesn't happen on a regular basis :)

Marc & Lisa slightly sodied

Rich dropped the cheese as he was shaking it over his BIG plate of pasta. Of course that meant that vodka sauce sprayed all over Marc, Lisa and the rest of the table. There was sauce in Marc's beard, no joke!

Happy Birthday Malcolm

It seems like yesterday that Clark's precious little cousin was born, and now he's already celebrating his first birthday. It's amazing how fast this year has gone by, and how much Malcolm has grown and changed. Clark is lucky to have a cousin so close in age to grow up with. He already idolizes his big cousins and we look forward to watching their friendships grow as the years go by. Who knows, if they end up at the same school one day Malcolm and Clark will be in the same grade! How cool is that?

Maheu Family Christmas

Tonight we finally celebrated Maheu family Christmas and Rich's birthday (a tad late) and even Marc's from December. We're a little late on everything this year! Clark got an awesome Cozy Coup which he LOVES. We could barely get him out of it... and Miles & Perry had fun playing dress up in their fun things from Disney- Clark also got the "i dig chicks" jammies from the Gap I was obsessing over(and so sad when they weren't in the store anymore) gotta love ebay :)

Of course I forgot my camera so here are some pics from Lisa's-

Pretty Princess Perry

Pirate Miles

And for some strange reason once Clark gets naked he likes to hang out that way- so here he is on the piano playing naked while Rich was trying to get his jammies on.

Clark was "driving" Perry around the house-

and this is how clark rolls :) the ladies DIG the cozy coup!
